The NARS Sheer Glow Foundation is perhaps one of the most talked about foundations on blogs and YouTube and I’ve been using the foundation for at least 18 months now and I recently repurchased another bottle and realised that I’d never even talked about it here on my blog. Obviously the fact I’ve repurchased the foundation will probably give you an idea of how I feel about it.
The foundation contains 30ml of product, costs A$78 and is packaged within a clear glass bottle with no pump. The massive downside of this foundation and the Sheer Matte Foundation is that they both don’t have pumps which is ridiculous when you’re paying A$78, and it makes application a little messy . We can buy pump separately which is A$4 on the Mecca website.

I really like the coverage of the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation as it’s really not sheer at all unless you apply a very light layer, but it actually offers a pretty decent, buildable coverage which never looks cakey. My favourite aspect of using this foundation is that it doesn’t cling to dry patches or any facial hair so it looks very natural and skin-like, even when it’s built up to a fuller coverage and it’s never broken me out.
I like to apply it with a beauty blender like with most of my foundations the coverage is medium to full and is very buildable. I would say the finish is more of a satin one than a glow like the name suggests but I prefer that as I’ve got oily/combination skin.
The wear is quite good id say 6-8 hours is probably the longest if you have oily skin as I find that it moves around a lot and separates if I wear it for any longer even after I’ve powdered.
Overall, I do really like this foundation and would even go as far as saying that its on par with my Giorgio Armani which is really saying something!
